Audio by Biosphere - Times When I Know You’ll Be Sad

Man, its been quite a while. Finally got my stuff working again after installing Snow Leopard. That bastard seemed to break everything!

This was my 2nd morning in Seattle. I ended up getting sick right when I landed which was a drag but I powered through. As a result I kept waking up periodically, this time particularly early. I decided to take the camera out on my friend Beau’s back patio where he lives in the Beta Mansion and see if I could get some movement from the clouds. They didn’t appear to be moving that fast so I wasn’t sure but I dig the outcome.

My move is almost over with, thank the lord and christ with baby jesus involved in that shit somewhere. I am sad to say that I was unable to keep my rad 9 foot long couch, damn that thing was like sitting on a cloud (I know it has robbed Craigalitos of many hours due to sleeping). New apartment up is dope, small studio with the ceiling painted up like a sky (and not by me). I live above an old man bar and want to shoot the drunkards coming and going near when the bar closes. Boo on the Outside Lands Festival being this particular weekend, it is going to make parking in the neighborhood HELL. They really ought to provide some place for people to put their damn cars so they don’t swallow up all the local parking in the area, bastards.

Audio by Joy Division - From Safety to Where

One of my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands. I generally like to put some kind of sound over these things but this one was a bit more difficult. I could have put the cliche heavy metal or punk track over it but that shit is corny. I went through a lot of tracks and ultimately just decided to throw a song from a band I really like over it and call it done.

1 photo every second for a little over an hour leaving me with 4,042 frames.

I debated even putting this up. The original frames were 3504x2336 so I decided to crop around my arm area due to me looking like a crazed bobble head doll. So here is the cropped version which is more importantly why I even asked Marco to let me shoot it. Thanks Marco, I know the shutter sound clicking every second on top of that needle buzz was out of the norm :)

Change is always an interesting thing, especially when the right people who enter it make an outstanding presence on the path you’re beginning to head down. Every second it happens and most of us don’t stop to acknowledge what is unfolding. My point being is, even driving in traffic you can take a second to see what is happening around you. I’ve driven across this bridge many times and have never seen the sun set like this over the bay. I love having my camera in the car metered on Manual and ready to shoot as I pass things on the road. You never know really what you’re going to get and there isn’t really an opportunity to frame the perfect composition.
New stuff coming soon. Lots of stuff shot just no time to process them :(

Audio by Unkle - When Once It Was

It was very windy at Twin Peaks. The fog was steamrolling over the city and through the neighborhood below. I enjoy watching the fog when it’s really moving fast, it seems to never have an end to it. You anticipate seeing the end of the vapor but it seems to flow forever, you’re getting to visually see the wind pattern as it swirls and pushes against objects.
